Light loess soil and a mild microclimate allow Veltliner grapes to ripen late into autumn. This enables the grapes to achieve a high sugar content without noble rot, which is essential for the typical Veltliner bouquet full of yellow fruits, a hint of pepper and delicate fruit sweetness.
